The PROUT Cafe is the brainchild of four stressed millennials and their meditation teacher who decided to use their youthful enthusiasm and love of podcasts to launch the ideas and solutions offered by PROUT to a larger audience, and to foster dialogue across a variety of theories for social reform.

The PROUT Institute finds similarity and complementary of approach in Permaculture and in applied PROUT. Both start from remarkably similar ethical principles.

A model of sustainable living and Neohumanist lifestyle in the River Road neighborhood of Eugene, Oregon, USA. Dharmalaya serves as a center for personal and spiritual development, for demonstrating and teaching wholesome and ecologically sustainable living, for promoting the PROUT vision of social transformation, and for facilitating neighborhood and community development.

This one-acre lot off of River Road started as a mostly blackberry weed-lot five years ago. Since then, with much volunteer help, it’s been transformed into an inspiring garden, community gathering spot, and education site. Two custom built cabins and a pavilion shaded by a huge maple form a convergence space for community gatherings.
